Unaesthetic Atatürk monuments remain taboo in Turkey
 
Those who visit Turkey may be surprised by the number of Atatürk monuments around the country. From village schools to state institutions and public parks, Atatürk monuments have become instruments shaping modern Turkey’s landscape.
